Welcome to this website for people living in the Midlothian South ward of Midlothian Council. This site is funded completely privately by me and is in no way supported financially by the Council. The site is designed to provide information to my constituents on the operations of the council and what activities I and the council are carrying out on your behalf. I hope that it will also provide information on Gorebridge, Newtongrange and surrounding villages, which may be of interest to people living outwith the area. I have represented Gorebridge on the Council since 2003 and now am one of 3 Councillors representing a larger Midlothian South Ward, which covers the areas indicated on the left of this page. I would very much like to thank those who voted for me in the elections on Thursday 3rd May and I look forward to working with our community to secure more improvements over the coming 4 years.
