Rhona Brankin
Rhona Brankin was
elected as Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Midlothian
Parliamentary Constituency in May 1999.

Rhona Brankin MSP
A graduate of Aberdeen
University and former chair of the Scottish Labour Party, Rhona was
previously a teacher and a lecturer on special educational needs.
Appointed Deputy Minister
for Culture and Sport by the late Donald Dewer in 1999, Rhona then served
in the Scottish Executive as Deputy Minister for Rural Development.
