Season 1967-1968
Arniston started satisfactorily winning their fair quota of games, losing the first game against Musselburgh Athletic by 2 - 1 in the league, but winning well against Tranent Juniors 3 - 0 in the league, 3 - 2 against Penicuik Athletic at Penicuik, 2 - 0 win against Bonnyrigg Rose, 5 - 3 win over Em United at Easthouses, 3 - 2 win over Dalkeith Thistle at Arniston, 5 - 1 win in the Rae Cup over Armadale Thistle at Armadale, 3 - 1 win over Peebles Rovers at Peebles. First week in December saw Arniston at their best, beating the 'crack' Baillieston outfit by 3 goals to 1. A Christmas treat was not to be for Arniston when they lost to Newtongrange Star 2 - 0 in the St. Michael Cup, and lost to Kello Rovers in the Scottish Junior Cup at Kirkconnell (no actual score in).
