Season 1950-1951

Arniston started the season in a tremendous fashion. Arniston scorers that day: Cranston 3, Hogg 3, Beveridge 2 and Rutherford. November saw Arniston winning well against Bo'ness United, 3 - 0 but came a cropper in the Scottish Junior Cup against the 'Star' from Newtongrange by 4 - 0, yet surprisingly if they had taken their chances the result might have been different.

The rest of the season was up and down for Arniston, winning well and losing games that they ought to have won. The 'up' part of the season, was a great run in the League Cup, which culminated in a great 4 - 0 win in the Final against Tranent Juniors.
