I see Stevie Wonder is doing the reports again. The first goal was a Thornhill header from a corner , the second was from Sommerville . Their goal came from a cross into the box after we lost possesion at the byline. Man of the match just goes to Barty but I thought Nizzy and Kerr in particular were superb.

Its so annoying having to go from page after page after page, wasting my day away with thousands of people just copying eachothers articles bah. Anyway, thankyou very much for the info anyway, much appreciated.

OK, Have had a look at the offending picture that is causing a problem. I think that the previous webmaster has tried to upload something into the picture on a news article that is a programme not a picture. I have switched the article off and you will no longer have a problem with the Ansti Virus software. Try it and see.

The need for change in the league set up is overdue. The current system with only one team being promoted from each of the regional leagues to the premier league is a total farce. I don't profess to have the answer to this crazy situation but what I would propose will hopefully start a meaningful debate that will bring about badly needed change. I would suggest a new league (let's call it the 1st division) be set up in between the regional leagues and the premier league. In setting up this new league at the end of the season, before the change, the 3 teams winning their respective regional leagues would be promoted to the current premier league but the 3 teams relegated from the premier league would drop into the new 1st division made up to a 12 team league with the teams ending up 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the regional leagues promoted to the 1st division. After this we could then have a 3 up 3 down situation from the premier league to the 1st division thereby making the regional leagues more competitive and with something to aim for every season. As I say it needs something to change. Where is the incentive when only on team gets promoted from the regional leagues. For the sake of the Junior game something has to change.

A couple of tips on computers if you have difficulty bgooting your computer
up or getting into the internet check the time at the bottom left hand corner
that controls the security certificate
and if the time is wrong you have to rectify it all by double clicking on the time that wil display a box with year, month day and time. All have to be corrected before computer will operate
properly.

If you wish an easy way to enter this
site when you are in the home page
save the home page to your favourites
By clicking on favourites and save to favourites.

The former is well worth knowing and could save you money, glad to be of help

Congratulations on restoring your comments site.
There's a simple solution in ensuring that any comments posted to the site are in keeping with the intention and manner for which the site was set up.
The sole arbiter of the site is The Webmaster and any comments posted that are deemed by The Webmaster to be unsuitable for publication due to their derogatory content should not be cleared for publication. Simple.

My previous post Re the listing of teams may have been misenterpreted by Willie Windaes. I meant it as the team be listed in the match reports to let the few of us who dont know all the players to at least put a name to a face. JP is one of the few I know by name but that is only because the manager and coach are always shouting at him to calm down!
Glad to hear that there will be some Mods checking the postings before they are available to view.

Keep up the good work.

Ok, From now on when you post a message on this site it will not appear right away. An email will be sent to the webmaster and maybe to other committee members who will be able to click a link in the email to accept the message onto the site. If we can maximise the amount of people who are able to "clear" the messages then we will get them onto the site quicker.

If any committee members are able to receive emails on their phone could they let me know and I will add their email address to the list of checkers.

We can see how this goes and if it is too restrictive we can go back to how we used to do it.

The only thing about requiring the webmaster to clear the comments before they appear on the site is that it means you dont get proper discussions going. We are not able to check the site every few hours, especially during the week when we are working. Still I will have a look and see what could be done.

Agree with the previous comments. Hopefully this page will prove to be about common sense rather than common muck. Anyway, we've obviously played more games than most in the league and I know it sounds obvious, but we probably need the equivalent of another 18 points to give ourselves a chance of staying up this season. This can either turn out to be a disaster - relegation - or it can be about drawing a line in the sand, where we stay up and move on thinking about the future rather than the past.

Improvements again today to come back so well and hold on to the 3-2 lead. The new management have brought some much needed team spirit back to the team and some of the new signings have added some much needed composure on the pitch.

A couple of points Re the site - is it possible to update the player profiles or list the team for each game? Would help some of us supporters who are "not in the know" to know who is who.

Re the comments part of the site, would it be worthwhile opening it as a forum with membership required? This may be a bit extra work but would help reduce some of the nonsense we have experienced on here in the not so distant past.

Not sure about the technology involved but I think it would be good if comments submitted were put 'on hold' until checked by the Webmaster (for the usual sweary words and childish nonsense, rather than a different point of view) before being posted on site. I believe that's the only way it keeps a useful section a bit sensible and also allows genuine contributors to remain anonymous, if they are uncomfortable in being identified. Please give it a try because I don't think it will be too long before the village idiots are back on here.
